Medical research can be divided into two general categories: the evaluation of new treatments for both safety and efficacy in what are termed clinical trials, and all other research that contributes to the development of new treatments. Medical Research Initiatives (MRI) is a dedicated multidisciplinary clinical research site that specializes in phase II-IV studies.
Medical Research Group is involved in medical research, we provide a high quality service to the pharmaceutical sector as well as dedicated and personal care to our patients. Medical research is for patients who are interested in looking for new treatments, who have the time to answer questions about side effects, who are willing to undergo testing, and who are willing to follow the requirements of the study. Medical Research South is a full service clinical trial management organization dedicated to conducting clinical research on a full-time basis.
Fears that sensitive genetic and health data not kept securely slowing recruitment to medical research project Additive may increase cancer risk, says study 29 Dec 2008:. The Foundation recognised the vital need for scientific work being undertaken alongside the heart of the medical community so it took a leading role in the establishment of a Medical School in the University of Auckland. This philosophy has underpinned the Foundation’s existence and to mark its 50th anniversary it played a major part in the opening of the Medical Sciences Learning Centre that houses two “museum” collections of anatomy and pathology which have been of immediate and continuing benefit to medical students. These studies are used to to assess the effectiveness and safety of new medical treatments.
Clinical research subjects undergo medical testing, and are closely followed by the study physician and medical staff. The findings from both studies were made public today instead of waiting until their planned publication in the January 7 print edition of the ‘Journal of the American Medical Association’ (JAMA). That’s the question abuzz in the medical community as doctors around the globe. The mission of the Medical Research Program is to support the prevention, treatment and cure of human disease. The Medical Research Program strives to accomplish its mission by supporting clinical research that advances the translation of basic biomedical discoveries into applications that improve human health.
The largest and most comprehensive medical research charity in Scotland has an impressive track record in supporting the country’s most promising young researchers in their work to improve:the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of diseases like cancer, diabetes and stroke. Its support is not restricted to any one disease or condition, so applications are welcome from early career researchers in any of the clinical, biomedical, physical or engineering sciences related to medicine, including from those in the nursing, midwifery and allied health professions.
Applications are welcome from those in any of the clinical, biomedical, physical or engineering sciences related to medicine, but those from the physical sciences should have a co-applicant with expertise in the biomedical sciences. New techniques for patient diagnosis and care have been discovered, tested and refined through research projects sponsored and funded by Wichita Medical Research and Education Foundation (WMREF)*.
The future of medical research is in question. In addition, we support somatic cell nuclear transfer, or therapeutic cloning, and have worked to protect this research in Congress and at the individual state level through our membership and participation in the Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research (CAMR). We work in partnership with other NSW Government agencies, medical research institutes, and CRCs to ensure the outcomes of medical research add value to the health system and to the people of NSW.
The purpose of the Medical Research Fund of New Brunswick is to provide financial assistance for health-related research within the province. Selection All eligible applications submitted to the Medical Research Fund of New Brunswick will be evaluated by an Awards Committee consisting of peer referees. As the Medical Research Fund of New Brunswick is intended to serve as a stepping stone to assist researchers to gain the experience and expertise required to compete successfully for funding from other sources, priority is given to new research, as opposed to on-going research projects.
